Wonderful Diwali party yesterday evening. Rushed through the rain to the sound of fireworks from the various displays happening for bonfire night. A real coming together of cultures. Am now preoccupied with buying candles and cosying up my home with soft light. In timely fashion, beautiful 'bouquet d'octobre' picture arrived from Etsy seller in France this morning so headed out to buy frame and hang it in pride of place.
