The contrast between the uber modern City of London and Georgian heritage Spitalfields is unbeatable. I spent a lot of time in both, the most enduring memory being of this house.Makeshift vase of tall bluebells on the piano in the corner and pink orchids above the fire. Music studio downstairs and upstairs a roof-top garden with hammock. Endless inspiration, endless.
